Eté Parfait - folk/mediaeval
This duo ensemble plays songs and instrumentals in a quasi mediaeval / renaissance - style, mixing old pieces, folksongs and their own home-made tunes in a light and charming way. Their repertory includes Celtic, Sephardic, Old (mediaeval/renaissance) Dutch, French and English.
Lively and original arrangements of traditionals, musical adaptations from mediaeval lyrics and renaissance poems, plus entirely original lyrics and music compositions make for a varied palette of moods, melodies, languages and rythms.
With the use of recorders, tin whistles, vocals and acoustic guitars, they really maintain an 'acoustic' feel which swings from serene to up tempo tunes. If necessary, a small soundsystem is available.
Eté Parfait can give your occasion a refined but relaxed character with gentle sounds and songs, which are not too obtrusive and will not hinder the conversation. For receptions and parties it's eminently fitted.
